Biolab opens applications for the second edition of InovaBio Open, its open innovation program

InovaBio Open, Biolab Farmacêutica's open innovation program, is open for applications until May 11, 2025 on the website https://startupcopilot.io/challenges/Biolab%20Farmaceutica/316?utm_source=site&utm_medium=Post&utm_campaign=inovabioopen2025&utm_content=Inscri%C3%A7%C3%A3o - Sling Hub is a benchmark platform in Latin America's innovation ecosystem, connecting startups with companies and investors. The initiative aims to promote high-impact technological solutions for the health sector, connecting startups, researchers and universities, transforming innovative ideas into projects that are applicable and relevant to the industry's challenges.

After the success of the first edition, Biolab is reinforcing its commitment to collaborative innovation and the search for mature proposals aligned with the strategic challenges of the company and the health sector as a whole.

“Innovation has been in Biolab's DNA since the beginning of our history. And to put it into practice, we believe that diversity of ideas and collaboration are essential. We want to create bridges that transform knowledge into concrete solutions for major health challenges. The projects must have synergy with one of the six challenges proposed in this edition:

Longevity: Solutions that promote healthy ageing and well-being, such as preventive technologies, innovative products and health monitoring.
Big Data and Data Analysis: Use of big data and artificial intelligence to accelerate R&D and make the supply chain more efficient, predicting demands and optimizing processes.
Clinical Research: Application of AI to speed up the recruitment and selection of participants, making clinical trials faster and more effective.
Strategic Intelligence: Predictive analysis tools and network monitoring focused on the patient, market and government, generating insights for strategic decisions.
Innovation Management: Solutions that improve the management of the innovation pipeline, with collaborative, analytical and project management tools.
Doctors' Journey: Platforms and digital tools that optimize doctors' daily lives and strengthen the connection with representatives and pharmaceutical retailers.

The selected projects will be presented in person to an evaluation panel during Pitch Day, which will take place on June 4, 2025.
