Published in September 25, 2026

The event will take place this Saturday at the Chamber and will bring together 10 companies from different sectors to interview people with disabilities in search of job opportunities.

People with disabilities who are looking for employment will have the opportunity to talk directly with companies and participate in selection processes this Saturday (September 26) in Pouso Alegre, MG. The 5th edition of ‘PCD na Ativa – Um Mundo de Inclusão’ will be held from 8am to 12pm at the Municipal Council, with the participation of 10 companies and consulting firms.

The employability action is part of the September Verde program and will be carried out in partnership with the Association of Commerce and Industry of Pouso Alegre (ACIPA).

During the morning, candidates will be able to submit their résumés, learn about available vacancies, and talk with representatives of the companies about job functions, requirements, and working conditions.

Adient, Biolab, Cristália, Go Hunt RH, Mart Minas, Midea, Open Consultoria, Prática, Supermercados Alvorada and Yoki Kitano are participating in the selection processes. The vacancies of each company have not been disclosed by CAC.

The companies and consultancies operate in different segments, such as the pharmaceutical industry, the automotive sector, supermarkets and retail, professional equipment for gastronomy and bakery, home appliances and air conditioning, the food industry, and recruitment and selection.

What the selection processes will be like

During the event, candidates will have direct contact with the professionals responsible for the hiring processes. It will be possible to ask questions about the opportunities and learn more about the activities carried out, requirements for each position, work schedules, and available shifts.

Representatives of the companies will also be able to conduct interviews on-site and guide the participants on the professional profiles sought.

The organization recommends that candidates bring, if they have it, the medical report or report characterizing the disability. This document can assist in analyzing information related to the disability and in identifying possible accessibility needs or adaptations in the work environment.

The proposal aims to bring together those seeking an opportunity with those hiring, facilitating the access of people with disabilities to the labor market.

“The selection process also has the support of the National Social Security Institute (INSS), which mobilized and referred insured participants in the Professional Rehabilitation Program to participate in the interviews and selection processes held during the event. The initiative sought to expand opportunities for return to the labor market after professional rehabilitation, fostering closer ties between insured individuals, companies, and employment opportunities., Eliane Ramos, Director of the CAC, explained about a partnership with the INSS.

In addition to employability, the programming seeks to expand access to information, citizenship, rights and opportunities, strengthening the participation of people with disabilities in different areas of society.

During the event, there will be several lectures and activities, as well as the issuance of documents by the CAC.
